The WFTA mourn the loss of a great lady
/We learnt today that Madame Guilheme Pelissier, of the de Malvau Kennel, has sadly passed away.
Madame Pelissier was elected as our President in 2004 and judged the WFTA Championship show that year. She had the honour of being the first judge from overseas to be elected into this position.
She showed her first dog in partnership with her mother, Mme Soudee in 1938 until the start of the war and continued after it had ended. Mme Soudee was decorated for her work for the French Resistance. Mme. Pelissier had an interest in both Smooths and Wires, although her own remained the Smooths.
